So…a year ago I felt bummed about the lack of activity to restore our Republic to its Constitutional foundation within our state and county. I looked at how best to serve my community and after some deliberation with like minded friends and my Lord I decided to run for Madison County Clerk….which I am certain comes as no surprise to a few of you….never know what I will do next!

I am passionate about our rights and liberties upheld by our Constitution. This includes protecting our vote. As election authority I will focus on election integrity, protecting the policies and procedures that are in place to protect that vote.

While knocking on doors recently to gather the signatures needed to place me on the primary ballot (Primary on June 28, 2022) someone said “I’m so frustrated with government that I may not vote!” My answer to this was, “Yes, I, too, am frustrated so I am running for office!” We had a nice chat.

As clerk I will also be able to use my diverse background in education, business administration, change agent, manager, and leader to bring more transparency and accessibility making information easier to access online.

I will evaluate and improve the experience of Madison County Citizens in all departments from their first introduction to the office to positive and educational opportunities and interactions with the County Clerk office.
